Aries – AF-10-3231 – 10″ x 2.5″ – 100% Calcite Cartridge Filter; pH Neutralizer
Calcite media is used to raise the low (acidic) pH from 5.0 to 7.0. This type of media dissolves on contact and is self-limiting, meaning it will stop when the pH is 7.0 and will not overcorrect pH under normal conditions.

Calcite media will raise your water hardness 4-5 GPG (grains per gallon).

Best used in situations where low pH is requires neutralization; post-reverse osmosis or pre-KDF or copper lines.

Fits most 10″ filter housings.
